Dr. Kathryn Brouillette


Dr. Brouillette is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr. Brouillette grew up in Southern Maine and trained at McGill University in Montreal.


She has been practicing in Southern Maine since 2011.  In that time, she has served as:

  • Assistant Medical Director for MMP Hospital Medicine 
  • Education and wellness coordinator for her colleagues 
  • Clinical trial sub-investigator
  • Frequent lecturer for MMC residents and faculty
  • Assistant professor and award-winning educator for Tufts Medical Students
  • Lecturer for UNE physician assistant program, Critical Care Physicians of Maine, and the Maine Chapter of the American College of Physicians
  • MMC Hospitalist of the Year 2020
  • Recipient of the Maine ACP Women in Medicine award 2021


Dr. Brouillette and her husband are the proud parents of five children.  She enjoys an active lifestyle in Maine’s four seasons, making music, and devouring literature. Her clinical interests include patient health literacy, providing quality end of life care, substance use disorder recovery, and bedside procedures.  Dr. Brouillette combines evidence-based care with humor, love, and honesty in her approach to patients and their families.  She is always up for a good chat and a good puzzle.  Opening Maine Street Medical fulfills a lifelong dream to provide health care as it should be done: with a conscientious clinician who knows her patients.
